The Wisconsin River Retreat is near the Devil's Lake State Park and 20 miles east of Wisconsin's state capital, Madison. The river retreat is also within walking distance of the Blackhawk River Runs. The cottages at the retreat are air conditioned and also have central heating. There are two bedrooms inside each cottage along with a full kitchen and bathroom with a shower. Furnishings included in the kitchen area are a refrigerator with top freezer, stove and oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, cooking utensils and silverware, dishes, kitchen towels and wash cloths. There are also sheets, blankets, pillows and bedspreads located in the bedrooms. For some relaxing entertainment, guests may also watch the television and DVD player that is available. Outside there are charcoal Weber grills and an outdoor lounge area along the patio. Those who come stay at the retreat need only bring personal toiletries, bath and hand towels and some food to enjoy their stay. Smoking and pets are not allowed on the premises.
