    • Greer Lodge is located in Greer on Highway 373, along the banks of the Little Colorado River. According to owner Doug Sandahl, his lodge offers "luxury in the wilderness." Choose a spacious, comfortable room inside the lodge or stay in one of the many cabins. Relax with a walk along the river, hike a mountain trail or try one of the activities that the lodge offers; Greer Lodge offers free fly-fishing lessons and equipment to use, as well as free use of mountain bikes and free use of telescopes for stargazing. In the winter, you can explore the countryside on snowshoes or go skiing or tubing at the nearby Sunrise Ski Resort. The lodge has two restaurants on site: The 373 Grill and the Watering Hole.     Red Setter Inn & Cottages

    • The Red Setter Inn is an adults-only inn, and is the perfect getaway for honeymoons, anniversaries or romantic weekends. In 2006, Fodor's named the inn as "One of the Top 10 Places to Stay in the World." Overlooking the Little Colorado River, the inn has 12 cozy rooms in the main building, each with a private balcony. Some of the rooms boast Jacuzzi tubs. There are also several living rooms and lounges, each with a fireplace. The Red Setter Inn also offers three honeymoon cabins and three cottage rooms. Enjoy gourmet breakfasts each morning and a homemade sack lunch to take with you as you explore the White Mountain wilderness.

    Lake of the Woods

    • This cabin resort in Lakeside, Arizona has 33 cabins and houses, and a private lake stocked with rainbow trout. The lake also has bass, catfish and blue gill. From April through October, Lake of the Woods offers rowboat rentals, weather permitting. The cabins include kitchens or kitchenettes with small refrigerators, wood-burning fireplaces and barbeque grills (either gas or charcoal, depending on the cabin). A playground is available for children under 12. There are also pool tables, a ping-pong table, shuffleboard courts and horseshoe pits, as well as two Jacuzzis and a sauna. In town, you will find hiking, horseback riding, mini-golf, go-carts, restaurants and grocery stores. The Lake of the Woods resort is located about 35 minutes west of the Sunrise Ski Resort.

    Sunrise Park Resort

    • Sunrise Park offers some of the best skiing in the West.

      Owned and operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe, Sunrise Park is a premier vacation destination. The Sunrise Park Lodge, on Sunrise Lake, offers 100 rooms, winter and summer. The ski area offers 65 runs for all levels of skiers, as well as tubing, snowboarding, cross-country, and children's areas. In the summer, you can hike, mountain bike or ride horses. You can also fish for rainbow, brook and Apache trout from shore, tube or boat. In addition to the Sunrise Park Lodge, the resort also offers an RV park and campground and meeting facilities for up to 200 people.

    Hon-Dah Resort-Casino and Conference Center

    • Pinetop, Arizona, is the home of the Hon-Dah Resort-Casino, offering Las Vegas-style gambling and entertainment.
