The Eagle Ridge Resort in Tenstrike, Minnesota is a small, seasonal fishing resort located on the shores of Gull Lake.     Accomodations

    • The Eagle Ridge Resort offers six cabins ranging from one to four bedrooms as well as 10 campsites for tents and recreational vehicles. Of the six cabins, two are modern, while the other four are considered rustic. The resort allows pets in the cabins for an additional charge, but asks that guests notify the resort in advance and that loud barking dogs not be brought. Quiet hours between 10:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. are enforced.

    Amenities

    • All cabins are equipped with kitchen utensils, as well as essential kitchen appliances such as coffeemakers, microwaves and toasters, ranges, refrigerator-freezers. The resort provides bed linens and kitchen towels, but guests must bring their own personal towels. Each cabin has its own barbecue grill and picnic table. Campsites have access to fire pits and electric and water hookups.

      Included in the cabin rental price is a 14-foot fishing boat or dock space for one boat. Guests are allowed access to the pontoon for sunbathing.     • Fishing is the activity of choice at the Eagle Ridge Resort. The 2,240-acre Gull Lake is home to a variety of fish species, including walleye, northern and large mouth bass, as well as pan fish such as bluegill, crappie, sunfish and perch. For a fee, the resort can arrange guide service for half a day or an entire day.

      Guests can swim at the resort's private lakeside beach or explore Gull Lake's 11.5-mile shoreline by renting a canoe or paddle boat from the resort, free of charge. Wildlife enthusiasts can observe the bald eagles that nest on the property behind one of the cabins, as well as waterfowl and loons. A number of hiking trails are accessible from the resort, including those found in the nearby state and national parks. There are also two golf courses within 10 miles of the resort.
