Cabins With a Fish Pond in Murphy, North Carolina

  1. Cobb Creek Cabins

    • Cobb Creek offers six cabins for guests to stay in. One cabin called "The Smokehouse" was built in 1861. Four of the cabins are located on Cobb Creek. Guests can catch-and-release fish in a pond stocked with small-mouth bass, brim, perch, catfish and trout. Prices range from $75 to $145 per night, depending on the cabin rented. Guests can also view a stone-wall memorial of the Cobb Family, including former Major League Baseball player Ty Cobb, who is in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

    Fish Pond Cabins

    • Guests can choose from five cabins to stay in when visiting Fish Pond Cabins. Cabins are priced from $65 to $125 per night depending on whether guests want an efficiency cabin or something larger. Four of the five cabins overlook the stocked pond where guests can go fishing or use a paddle boat. Guests can also enjoy a lighted pavilion and small park located on the Fish Pond Cabins grounds.

    Wilderness Creek Falls

    • The Wilderness Creek Falls cabins are located on 30 acres of land where guests can fish in a stocked pond, hike on trails or play horseshoes. Each cabin has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Rates start at $125 per night for a party of up to four adults.
