This section of the Buckeye Trail loops through Hocking Hills, past Old Man's and Ash Caves and Cedar Falls Gorge.
Cougar Cabin stands on a rise across the road from Panther Cabin, overlooking the trees and a path leading to a private picnic area. Both cabins have satellite television, fireplaces, charcoal grills, fully equipped kitchens and sheltered hot tubs.

This three-cabin complex in Hocking Hills State Park is an 11-minute drive north of Pleasant Valley Road. The entrance to Rockbridge State Nature Preserve and Ohio's largest natural bridge is just an eight-minute hike away. More than two acres of pines surround each of the cabins, with access to canoeing, wildlife watching and hiking trails nearby. Open-air hammocks provide simple relaxation.
The At Boulder's Edge cabins have telescopes for wildlife watching, propane grills for outdoor cooking, and ponds for swimming and fishing.
