Rented cabins are provided in the Hocking Hills State Forest by Getaway Cabins. More than 30 log cabins are available, including some which are pet-friendly. Amenities include air conditioning, hot tubs and electric fireplaces, with some cabins receiving satellite television service. All cabins are equipped with a gas grill and kitchenette, as well as furnished with queen-sized beds. Cabins can accommodate a range of guests, up to eight. A gift shop is also located on site, and the facility even offers its own signature brand of wedding ceremonies, called "WeddingMoons."

The Deer Watch Cabins in Hocking Hills offer private cabin accommodations, complete with amenities such as a hot tub and air conditioning and heating. In all, there are three log cabins available, all equipped with a kitchen area, television and VCR and gas grill, and furnished with full-sized sofas and queen-sized beds. Bathroom linens are provided, and the cabins are conveniently located near the local steakhouse, Jack's Steak House, a family-friendly restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pets are allowed with a $10 dollar fee.
