Harmon Creek is less than 12 miles from town and is set on the shores of Harmon Creek, a tributary of Lake Livingston that's known for its white bass fishing. The owners recently shored up the bulkheads along the banks to make shoreline fishing easier, but a boat launch is also available for those who want to set out for the day. RV sites are equipped with 20-, 30- and 50-amp electrical service, along with water and sewer hookups, a picnic table and a fire ring. The sites can accommodate rigs between 30 and 45-feet long. Camp amenities include laundry and shower facilities, a swimming pool, a playground and game courts, with space available for group camping.
