    • This Lake Livingston park offers shady sites with full hookups, including 30- and 50-amp service and free Wi-Fi. Campers have a choice of standard, deluxe and waterfront sites. Boat stalls and a launch are available for a small, additional fee, and rentals for paddleboats, canoes, pontoons and powerboats are available hourly or daily. Fishing is available from the banks or the nearby pier. Additional amenities include free wireless Internet access and an on-site general store stocked with groceries, sundries and other camping needs.

    Harmon Creek RV Park

    • Harmon Creek is less than 12 miles from town and is set on the shores of Harmon Creek, a tributary of Lake Livingston that's known for its white bass fishing. The owners recently shored up the bulkheads along the banks to make shoreline fishing easier, but a boat launch is also available for those who want to set out for the day. RV sites are equipped with 20-, 30- and 50-amp electrical service, along with water and sewer hookups, a picnic table and a fire ring. The sites can accommodate rigs between 30 and 45-feet long. Camp amenities include laundry and shower facilities, a swimming pool, a playground and game courts, with space available for group camping.
