Chester Creek Loft is an 850 square foot, two-bedroom apartment. The bedrooms feature a queen-sized bed and two twin-sized beds along with a sleeper sofa in the living room. The apartment is fully furnished, and includes a full kitchen, laundry and one bathroom. For larger groups, guests may wish to rent the downstairs suite for additional sleeping room. This property has a no-smoking and no-pets policy.
Chester Creek Loft features a private balcony, wood-burning fireplace and off-street parking. The apartment also offers cable television, Internet access, DVDs and a CD player for relaxing indoors. Guests can cook on site in the fully-equipped kitchen or outside on the charcoal grill. Enjoy the view of the Chugach Mountains or the soothing sounds of Chester Creek.
Outdoor lovers can access the urban Chester Creek Trail System a half-mile from the loft to enjoy bicycling, running, cross-country skiing and roller blading. Six bikes are available for guests to borrow during their stay. The Anchorage Weekend Market, eclectic restaurants and specialty shopping is all within walking distance from the property. Other nearby activities include the zoo, fishing, museums and live performances. During the winter season, visitors can enjoy the annual Fur Rendezvous winter festival and famous Iditarod sled dog race.
As of January, 2011, Chester Creek Loft rental rates are based on a two-night minimum for the summer season from May 1 to Sept. 30. Rates vary depending on nightly, weekly or monthly stays. Off season, from Oct. 1 to April 31, rates are roughly half price and a one-week minimum stay is required. Winter leases include utilities, phone and garbage service and snow removal. Guests must pay an additional $60 housekeeping fee. A 50 percent deposit of the total rental cost is due upon making the reservation.
