Call your credit card provider or bank and ask if they offer air miles with credit card use or purchases. Enroll in these programs to get miles. Many credit card companies and banks offer, at a minimum, one mile for every dollar spent using the credit card.
Collect flyer miles by staying in sponsored motels and hotels. Many chain hotels and motels tie in with airlines and give guests air miles for staying with them. Ask the desk clerk when checking in if they offer flyer miles; present them your air club card to be credited for the room miles.
Earn extra flyer miles by renting cars from sponsored rental agencies. Many chain auto rental agencies offer flyer miles with each rental. Ask the clerk if this is available; present your air miles card when renting the car to get credited for the flyer miles.
Read the labels on your grocery and food purchases. Air miles are credited through many food companies with purchases, such as General Mills cereals. Keep your eye out for brands that you purchase for flyer mileage credits. Clip the box-tops and mail them to the company to get credited for the promotional flyer miles.
