Seafood Restaurants in Springfield, Missouri

For gourmands, Springfield, Missouri's claim to fame is as the birthplace of cashew chicken, an American version of the Chinese dish consisting of deep-fried battered chicken served in a savory brown sauce and studded with cashew halves. The town's signature dish is featured on the menus of Springfield's 70 Chinese restaurants and school cafeterias. If you are looking for an alternative to near-ubiquitous dish, consider one of the city's seafood restaurants.
