Canceling a ticket from Expedia, the world's largest online travel company, is easy with a few simple steps. Depending on the type of reservation, you can do this online or by phone. Some cancellations do not carry penalty fees, but restrictions may apply to others, according to specific vendor policies.
Call Expedia at 877-787-3125 to let a customer service agent know you would like to cancel your flight reservation. Have your booking information ready before calling.
Note that some flights may be nonrefundable, depending on the airline and ticket type. Go to your online itinerary at the Expedia website to check for any restrictions and cancellation fees that apply to your flight.
If your flight is refundable, cancel your booking. Expedia will issue your refund on the same day.
If your flight is nonrefundable, some airlines offer flight credit for future traveling. This credit typically is valid for one year from the issue date and can be used only by the ticket holder.
For hotel cancellations, go to the "My Itineraries" tab at the top of the Expedia website homepage. Enter the appropriate details requested to find your itinerary.
