Busch Gardens offers safari style animal encounters, amusement park rides and exciting stage shows, creating fun for all the family. The park has animals from all over the world including rhinos, lions, tigers, zebras, and giraffes. Truck tours take visitors into the large Serengeti enclosure to get an up close view of the animals. A range of rides are offered in the park to suit children of all ages. The Florida Aquarium offers the chance to view a wide range of marine life and to swim with some of its inhabitants. In addition to fish, the aquarium is also home to turtles, otters and penguins. The Museum of Science and Industry offers kids the chance to learn through exhibits and practical experiments about the natural and industrial world around them. The Tampa Fire Museum was a working fire house from 1911 to 1974. A group of local citizens raised the money to turn the disused firehouse into a museum. Kids will love to see all the classic firefighting equipment and learn about how fighting fire used to work and how it works today. The museum also runs workshops on fire safety for kids.
