How to have fun in Raleigh, NC

It is pretty easy to find fun things to do in Raleigh North Carolina. Raleigh is the capital of North Carolina and is home to the Carolina Hurricanes! Go Canes!

Raleigh is surrounded by the cities of Durham, Cary, Morrisville, Apex and Chapel Hill. There is always something going on no matter when you visit.

Here are my suggestions for having fun in Raleigh NC. I hope you enjoy them!

  Go to see the Carolina Hurricanes play at the RBC Center in Raleigh NC.

  Visit Marbles Children's Museum in downtown Raleigh. See an Imax movie while you are there too!

  Visit the Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary. Cary has been voted in the top 5 places to live for a few years.

  Take a trip over to Jordan Lake Beach - lay on the sand, swim in the lake, rent a boat or camp out. Only 5 dollars to park.

  Visit one of the skate parks to try your hand at skateboarding.

  Visit Chapel Hill - It is a historic town built around Chapel Hill University. Franklin Street is always hopping with things to do. Stay at the Franklin Hotel for an unbelievable 5 star stay.

  Visit the Southpointe Mall in Durham. It is fantastic!
