Become familiar with the organization's rules at their websites and fill out all the paperwork that is required. The Make-A-Wish foundation requires that applicants have a life-threatening medical condition. The WISH (When Inspiration Saves Hope) foundation grants wishes to anyone who someone thinks is deserving; your child doesn't have to be ill.
Fill out the medical forms that the group requires, if necessary. These forms ask you to note the specific illness of your child. You can ask your doctor to provide you with this data. Once the wish foundations go through all of the information you provide and they approve you to become a part of their wish program, they will phone you to set up a meeting.
Meet with someone from the organization. Let the foundation representative speak to your youngster and find out the reason why he wants to go to a Disney theme park. Note that the approximate waiting period once the interview process is complete is about half a year.
