Located in Huntington Beach, California, the Huntington Beach Adventure Playground is open to children between six and 12 years old. The playground runs from mid-June through mid-August of each year. While attending this summer event, children learn practical skills, such as using a saw and hammer. Additionally, students participate in various physical activities, including playing in the mud, climbing structures and swinging on tires, among others. The playground is located in Huntington Central Park.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, part of Walt Disney World, is dedicated to teaching kids about nature and conservation. The park, located in Orlando, Florida, is home to more than 1,700 animals from 250 different species. The park is divided into seven areas: Oasis, Discovery Island, Camp Minnie-Mickey, Africa, Rafiki's Planet Watch, Asia and Dinoland U.S.A. Children can get close enough to pet the animals.
