The Golf Club of Yucatan is located in the tropical forest of Yucatan. Positioned just off the Merida Progresso highway, it is situated on Dzibilchaltan, the ancient Mayan archaeological site. Golf Club of Yucatan is home to numerous tournaments and holiday celebrations throughout the year.
The club offers a full range of athletic activities seven days a week. A monthly membership is valid for three calendar months. The golf course provides 18 holes and a par 72, and offers equipment rentals, carts and golf caddies. Take pleasure in a round of tennis, splash in the pool or sit in the steam baths. A restaurant bar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Walk-ins are acknowledged, however it is recommended that you contact the club in advance of visiting if you are not a member.

Los Dos Cooking School is the only school in Merida featuring Yucatan Cuisine. The school is intended for individuals who love to cook or desire to learn about the Yucatecan culture. Classes are directly with Chef David Sterling in his personal residence. The setting is a colonial mansion in downtown Meridia, encircled with a pool, terrace, garden, formal dining room and a great Mexican cooking area.
Every class commences with coffee and pastries. Students visit the local Merida marketplace for food to cook and transport back to the class. The result is a spectacular meal that you and the chef arrange together. Choose from an assortment of class options, including one day cooking classes, tasting classes, and culinary workshops. The restaurant is not open to the public and is considered a private club. Reservations are needed at least 30 days in advance.

The team at Urban Adventures offers the Mayan Bicycling experience. This expedition travels by bike between Merida's remote regions, a Mayan archaeological location, and a functioning hacienda. The journey covers six land miles through Tixcokob, the village famous for hammock making. Have a midday meal at the completion with a local Mayan household.
The tour begins at the lobby of Hotel Caribe in downtown Merida. A walking tour embarks at the local colonial place of worship and market. Succeeding the journey on foot, everybody treks to Dona Mary's building to select mountain bikes. This day trip is for individuals who like to ride bikes and desire to view the Yucatan landscapes.
