How Do I Speak Texas English?

To an untrained ear, a Texas drawl may sound like a typical southern accent. But to linguists Guy Bailey and Jan Tillery, a Texan expresses himself differently than inhabitants of other states. If you are visiting Texas and want to blend in with the locals, you'll need more than a big hat and pointy-toed boots. You'll also need a few local expressions.
