There may not be any nightclubs in Kuwait, but there is no shortage of restaurants open late. Whether you have a taste for the extravagant or just want quality local food, the options are endless.
With its regal atmosphere and slick cuisine, Le Notre Arabian is one of the finest restaurants in town. In the absence of a night club scene, this is the place to be seen.

You may not be able to dance the night away, but you can sit back and enjoy the Middle Eastern favorite shisha. Shisha (also known as hookah) is cured and flavored tobacco smoked in large water pipes. It is a communal and public affair and one of the few vices celebrated within the strictly conservative country. Finding a shisha bar online is a difficult prospect, but any hotel concierge or cab driver is sure to know a good spot.
If you have had your fill of food and shisha, hit the streets for a bit. Kuwaiti nightlife might not fit the norm, but there are always people out and about. Malls and shopping centers are open late, and with its oil riches, Kuwait has attracted many of the worlds premiere stores and boutiques. The heat can be unbearable, so large, luxurious indoor malls are all around. If you have the cash, hop inside and see what Prada, Gucci or Louis Vuitton have to offer.
Your best bet for shopping is Villa Moda. A new mall for the ultra-rich, the 100,000 square foot Villa Moda is an impressive destination. Even if the prices make you blush, you can still sit back and enjoy the plush surroundings.
