Take a Spanish language class for travelers. Often Spanish classes designed for travelers give you the essentials you need to learn Spanish fast.
Practice. Practice speaking Spanish and practice your vocabulary as often as you can. Use flash cards to help you memorize the words.
Speak Spanish any time you get a chance with somebody who is a native Spanish speaker. Ask them to correct your Spanish usage, grammar and pronunciation.
Immerse yourself in Spanish. Go to a Spanish-speaking country in South America, Mexico, or Spain. Talk with the locals. Do not speak in your native tongue, or at least speak in your native language as little as possible. Natural language immersion and cultural immersion is the one tried and true method of becoming fluent in Spanish that people have been doing since the language began.
Try Spanish language software online or on CD. Software such as Rosetta Stone has a great reputation and is a quality program that may provide the fastest way to become fluent in Spanish.
