Find out if your bank is an Interac participant; this is a method of transferring money using online banking and email that does not require you to share any personal or financial information.
Follow the instructions on the Interac website to make an email money transfer if your bank is an Interac participant (see Resources).
Go to the local branch of your bank if your bank doesn't allow you to use Interac and provide them with the contact and bank information of the recipient, including his account number, the branch number of his bank and the bank address.
Confirm that the recipient has received the transferred money in her account. This typically takes one to two business days for domestic transfers, but more time should be allotted for international transfers.
Go to the nearest office of a cash-transfer service with the receiver's contact information and a test question the recipient alone would be able to answer (see Resources).
Fill out the appropriate form and provide the funds for transfer.
Confirm that the recipient has picked up the money. He can do this at the cash-transfer service location nearest him after showing photo identification. Several days should be allotted for the transfer of funds, depending on the country of origin and the destination.
