Visit your nearest Western Union or MoneyGram dealer and obtain a remittance form for sending money.
Fill out the entire form with your name, address, and phone number. You may also be asked to enter a passcode that would be required when money is to be received. This field can be left blank and a computer generated confirmation code will be provided. Indicate the amount of money you would like to transfer.
Submit the form to the money transfer dealer along with the money being transfered as well as the transfer fee. Retain the receipt once the transaction has been completed.
Provide the receipt number to the recipient in Puerto Rico along with the information about the remitter, such as name and address. The recipient can go to any authorized money transfer agency in Puerto Rico to pick up the money.
