Open a Web browser and log on to Bloomberg's currency converter (see Resources).
Leave "1" in the "Amount" field, since you want to convert just one Australian dollar to British pounds.
Click the drop-down menu next to "From" and select "Australian Dollar (AUD)."
Click the "To" menu, and select "British Pound (GBP)."
Click "Convert" to reveal the converted amount. The amount is based on the most recent currency exchange rate.
Log on to the currency converter on Yahoo! Finance (see Resources).
Click in the box on the left side and type "Australia." Select "Australian Dollar (AUD)" when it appears in the list.
Click in the box on the right side and type "British Pound." Select "British Pound (GBP)" when it appears in the list.
Leave "1" in the Amount field on the left side. Look at the figure on the right side, which displays the converted amount in British pounds.
Log on to OANDA's currency converter (see Resources).
Click the drop-down list under "Currency I Have." Scroll down and select "Australian Dollar."
Click the drop-down list under "Currency I Want." Scroll down and select "British Pound."
Leave the Amount field as "1." The converted amount in British pounds displays in the right-side "Amount" field.
