Liquids are permitted as flight carry ons but are restricted to 3.4-oz bottle or less and must be placed in a clear, plastic 1-qt. zip-top bag. Only one bag per passenger is permitted, and the item must be placed in the screening bin before boarding.
Airlines permit passengers to carry on one bag, which must fit into overhead lockers or under the seats. The baggage must not exceed 45 linear inches. Additional items such as jackets, child strollers, umbrellas, pillows and blankets are permitted.
Weapons such as firearms, knives and swords are prohibited carry-on items and should be declared and travel with checked baggage. Martial arts and sporting equipment are also prohibited as carry-on items. Work tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers are permitted as carry ons but must be less than 7 inches in length.
