Provide the shipper and consignee address/name/phone number and advise the agent when you need the shipment to arrive to the USA. The Freight Forwarder, or agent, will arrange all steps of the door-to-door or door to-port shipment. Tell the agent the number of containers that you wish to ship, and size of the containers (20- or 40-foot). Prepay for the shipment using cash, check, money order or credit card.
Allow a ground carrier to pick up your containers from the shipping location. Provide the truck driver with any documents that you received from the Freight Forwarder, including the packing list with the monetary value of shipment listed.
Contact an agent in Turkey (or the USA) to track the shipment. Receive containers, or pick up containers from port in the USA when notified by Freight Forwarder.
