Write a list of everything you need to pack, including towels and linens if the vacation destination does not include these in your vacation package. Check your list carefully to ensure that each item gets packed in your luggage.
Pack only the essentials that you will need for your beach vacation. Choose outfits carefully and make sure that you can mix and match your clothing to make more outfits. Use the space in your shoes to store jewelry, make-up and small items. Roll your clothing when you pack so you can make more room. Pack plastic bags to put dirty clothes in, and place anything that might damage your clothing into plastic bags.
Roll the clean linen towels when you fold them. Rolling items creates more space in your suitcase. Place the towels in any available space you can find. Only bring one or two bath and one or two wash cloths per person. You can always hang towels to dry over a chair, or wash them at a laundromat at your vacation destination. On your trip home, you can use the towels to help pad any breakable souvenirs that you purchased on your trip.
Leave the towels behind at your vacation spot if you run out of room in your luggage when you pack to go home. Purchase new towels when you get home, or use the towels that you already own. Remember that towels are replaceable.
