Instructions

    • 1

Take the average number of diapers your infant uses in a day, plus 2 extra. For example, if your infant uses 6 diapers a day, pack 8 diapers for each day you plan to be on the road.

    • 2

Pack wet wipes, disposable baggies and changing pads. These items will make on-the-road cleanup as simple as possible. Keep a diaper cream on your baby's bottom. She will be sitting for long periods of time, and her little bottom will get tender.

Pack 3 bottles for each day you are on the road. Measure out the formula and take bottled water, if the formula is in powder form. If the formula is in liquid form, pack a cooler and check it often to make sure it is staying cool. You can buy a bottle warmer that plugs into your car's adapter. Wash the bottles every night, or in between feedings, if you can.

Pack an extra change of clothes for each day you will be on the road. Accidents can happen, plus your little one will want fresh clothing every day. Pack plenty of bibs. It's easier to change a bib than an entire outfit.
