Locate the duffel’s pocket. The way the duffel bag works is being being folded into a pocket on the duffel bag. Before you begin to fold the bag, first find the pocket to which you will fold it.
Fold the ends. The duffel bag has rounded ends that need to be folded into the pocket in order to fold up the bag. To start this process, fold the two ends of the duffel bag inward.
Fold the bag in the middle. With the two ends folded into the bag, fold the bag in half at the middle to reduce it down to the size needed to fit into the pocket.
Remove the strap. The strap is clasped onto the bag and removing the strap will help you to fold the Travelon duffel bag. After the bag is folded, put the strap in the pocket for safe keeping.
Push the bag into the pocket. After the ends are folded inward and the bag followed in half, push the bag into the stow away pocket. You will have to twist the bag slightly to make it fit, but the duffel bag will fold into the pocket.
Fold the duffel bag and pack it in a regular size suitcase. When you arrive at your destination, unfold the duffel bag and use it for traveling with a smaller amount of items.
