How to Print Your Own Passport Pictures

The U.S. Department of State sets strict guidelines in place for passport photos. Size, color and quality are only a few of the requirements for acceptable photos. What you wear, the paper your photos are printed on and the age of your photos are all enforced by the State Department. If your photo does not meet all of the required guidelines for passport photos, your processing time will be delayed and your international travel plans could be interrupted. The U.S. Department of State recommends having passport photos taken by professionals, but there's no rule saying you cannot take your own photo, as long as it meets all the requirements.
