Go to your local Post Office and obtain passport renewal forms. Have the post office take a new photo of your new look.
Fill out the passport documentation as a renewal. The federal government doesn't allow you to simply change your digital photo on a passport once it is issued. Your passport may not appear to be tampered with in any way. But you can change your passport digital photo by having a new one taken and by submitting renewal documents to the U.S. State Department.
Claim you lost your passport. You can have the digital photo on your passport changed by checking the box that indicates that you lost your passport and need to have a new one issued. Send along your new passport photo.
Send all the completed documentation in to the U.S. State Department along with payment and the new photos.
Wait a month or so for your new passport with your changed digital photo to arrive in the mail.
