How to Renew a Dutch Passport

Dutch citizens living abroad who want to replace a missing passport should visit the Dutch embassy or consulate in their country to begin the renewal process. When applying, applicants are asked to bring both originals and copies of all their documents. Furthermore, anyone with another foreign passport must bring it to their appointment. As long as your application and supporting documents are correct and complete, your passport will arrive in approximately two to three weeks, since the passports are made in the Netherlands. You can choose to have the new passport sent to you or you can pick it up at the Dutch embassy.
