Place each of the four mounting brackets above the mounting holes on the antenna base. Insert the provided hex screws into the holes and tighten them in place with the socket set.
Slide the crossbars on the roof rack until they are 35 ½-inches apart. Use the tape measure to confirm this distance, measuring from the exact center of both crossbars.
Place the antenna on the roof rack. Turn the antenna so that the cable connection is facing the back of the vehicle. All four of the mounting brackets will sit on top of the crossbars. Insert the pegs into the brackets.
Slide a retaining plate under each bracket and insert the provided screws and nuts. Use the socket set to tighten the nuts. Ensure brackets do not move or slide on the crossbars. Attach the protective covers over the brackets by pressing them down until they snap into place.
Run the antenna cable from the back of the antenna into the vehicle. One way to do this is to open the back hatch or window, slide the cable through, then close the window. Connect the other end of the cable to the "Antenna In" input jack on the back of the receiver.
