While visiting the Children's Zoo your kids will be able to slide down a slide that is set up next to the river otter exhibit, be entertained by a family of Fennec Foxes, play in a play area, visit a Meerkat colony, and look at tree kangaroos. When you and your children are frolicking in the Children's Zoo you will want to make sure that you wear clothing that you don't mind getting wet, the Children's Zoo is full of fountains and geysers that you will find impossible to resist.
After spending several hours at the St. Louis zoo you can pay a visit to Grant's Farm. Grant's Farm is not your typical mid-western farm. Grant's Farm is a 281 acre farm that over 1,000 different animals call home. The most famous animals that call Grant's Farm home are the Budweiser Clydesdale's. The Clydesdale's that pull the beer wagons and perform on the commercials are born on Grant's Farm. The best thing about Grant's farm is the admission, its free, there are fees for parking, expect to pay $10 per car.

Your kids will be able to burn off some energy while they pick fruit and enjoy the outdoors.
