Since 1956, this museum has operated in the home of one of America's most famous railroad conductors, Casey Jones. The museum features a number of exhibits dedicated to the legend of Casey Jones (including a short film). Additionally, a re-creation of an 1890s train station was completed in 2009, allowing patrons to step briefly into the past. Kids can play with toy trains, read books about Casey Jones in a special reading area, and take an educational tour through the museum. Casey Jones Village also offers a mini-golf course and a restaurant serving buffet-meals all day.
