How to Make a TGV Reservation
The Train a Grande Vitesse (TGV) is a French passenger train capable of speeds in excess of 200 miles per hour. In addition to traveling to more than 150 towns and cities in France, the TGV has terminals in Belgium, Switzerland and Germany. Consequently, the TGV is a popular mode of transportation for tourists. To ride on the TGV, a perspective passenger must first purchase a rail pass. Such passes allow travelers to purchase unlimited access to railways for a certain period of time. A seat reservation must be purchased separately to secure a space on the train, however.
