How to Get Southwest Double Rewards

Southwest Airlines uses a Rapid Rewards program for travelers to earn points for the purchase of select flights, rental car and hotel rooms. The points can then be exchanged for items through Southwest including free flights, event tickets, rental cars and hotel rooms. Signing up for the Rapid Rewards program is free and you will be able to earn double points on select items and services. Enter in your Rapids Rewards number when prompted to earn points.

  Enroll in Southwest Airlines Rapids Rewards program at the airlines' website. Visit southwest.com, go to the "Rapid Rewards" tab and click on "Enroll" on the drop down menu.

  Check out the promotions on Southwest's Rapid Rewards at travel.southwest.com/specialoffers. These promotions change often, so check back often.

  Read through the offers. Some will offer double points, triple and even quadruple points. Some offers will even offer bonus points.

  Click the "Learn More" link under an offer which you may want to learn more about. A new window will come up with the specific details of the offer and what you have to do to get the offer. Offers include rental cars, hotels and dining options.

  Have your Rapid Rewards number ready and be sure to enter it when prompted to get your double points.
