Go to a concierge at any Starwood Hotel and ask to apply to be a Starwood Preferred Guest. Complete the application and receive an account number and membership card. Alternatively, apply online (see Resources).
Present the card when you check into a Starwood Hotel. Money you spend for your room and services will accumulate points.
Present your rewards card when you dine in a Starwoods restaurant. All money spent on food and beverage will accumulate points.
Navigate to the Starwood webpage (see Resources).
Click "Buy Starpoints Now."
Fill out your personal information and select how many Starpoints you wish to purchase. Click "Continue."
Enter your credit card information and click "Purchase Now."
