      Chicago has one of the largest fountains anywhere in the world. It is the Clarence F. Buckingham Memorial Fountain. It is located at Columbus Drive (301 East) and Congress Parkway (500 South) in Grant Park.

      Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily from from April to mid-October, depending on weather.

      Every hour on the hour the fountain produces a grand water display for 20 minutes. The water shoots 150 feet into the air.

      If you are at the fountain at dusk, every hour on the hour for 20 minutes you can enjoy a light and music display. The last display is at 10pm. the Fountain's major water display is accompanied by a major light and music display. The final display of the evening begins at 10:00 p.m.

      Go to the Navy Pier. It is 50 acres of parks, promenades, gardens, shops, eateries and attractions.

      Fall (Tuesday following Labor Day through October)
      Sunday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
      Friday & Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

      Winter (November 1 - March 31)

      Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

      The Navy Pier is Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day
