For many decades, this was the one restaurant that everyone knew about, but was never advertised. A small restaurant set inconspicuously to the side and on the outskirts of town, the perfect place to get one of the most delicious Mexican Subs (tortas) you will ever have. Although there are currently several branches throughout the country of Tortas Sevillanas, this is the original restaurant, attended by the owner herself.

This is one of the few hotel-motels with restaurant service in Matehuala. It is reminiscent of a motel in the 1950s with garden walkways that lead to quaint cabanas. The restaurant looks out over the gardens and cabanas, offering a tranquil and idyllic view. Most of the time the restaurant is half empty which makes the atmosphere even more relaxing. The food is outstanding, and the menu is Mexican traditional food.
