Millions of tourists visit Colorado annually. They ski, hike in the majestic Rockey Mountains, marvel at ancient Native American ruins in the southwest, and play a lot of golf. Colorado has 305 public and private golf courses within its boundaries.

    Colorado Springs

    • Golf courses in Colorado Springs, a city close to Pike's Peak, top Golflink's list of the 10 best places in Colorado for golfing. Other cities on the list include Aurora, Denver, Fort Collins and Grand Junction.

    Vail

    • The Vail Recreation District's public golf course serves a dual purpose. In the summer, it's a golf course, but once snow falls, this resort area's course is turned into a Nordic ski center.
