Waiehu Golf Course is a municipal course with 18 holes. Waiehu Golf Course offers scenic views of Waihe'e Reef (which is situated just offshore), as well as of the bright blue sea. The beachfront course is right next to Waiehu Beach Park. The golf spans 174 acres in total, and is home to a driving range, which is fully lighted. Other features that are available include an on-site restaurant, cafe, pro shop, locker facilities, cart rentals and clubhouse. The course was the locale for the USGA Amateur Links Championship in 1996.

Kahili Golf Course is situated in central Maui, in Wailuku. Kahili Golf Course is a municipal course at the West Maui Mountains' picturesque foothills. The course provides pleasant views of Haleakala. Some benefits of the golf course include a roomy clubhouse, well-stocked pro shop (with golf equipment, souvenirs and attire), practice facilities (chipping and putting greens, and a driving range) and an on-site grill restaurant and bar, which serves fresh fish, salads, sandwiches, soups and Japanese fare for both breakfast and lunch. The par-72 course spans 6,570 yards and was built in 1990. It was designed by the architects Rodney Wright and Robin Nelson.

The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course has the ambiance of one of Scotland's famous links courses, and was designed by the architect Robin Nelson. The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course is an 18-hole public course, and was established in 1999. Some features available at the golf course include a pro shop, golf school, locker facilities, full-service restaurant with both outdoor and indoor dining, banquet and meeting facilities for up to 250 individuals at a time, bar, guest lounge and practice and instructional facilities. The golf school's instructors are professionals who have received PGA training.
