Twenty minutes from downtown Lisbon and designed by the famous golf course architect "Rocky" Roquemore, Bela's Club de Campo golf course is where golf meets nature. This championship course, located in the Carregueira mountains, offers a naturally-preserved landscape and the challenge of an 18-hole, moderately-difficult, par 72 course. A full round costs between $95 and $110. The pro shop rents electric carts and clubs and caddies are available. Lessons, an academy and a golf clinic are offered, under the supervision of the PGA pro, Keith Barrett. The clubhouse restaurant serves national and international dishes.

Close to the center of Lisbon, the mostly flat, moderately difficult Paco do Lumiar course is a nine-hole, par 29 with seven par three and two par four holes. Green fees for nine holes is about $30, while 18 is almost $40. Advanced bookings are required. The course has a driving range, putting green, a bar and restaurant that serves traditional Portuguese food. For beginners, there are lessons with the club pro. Caddies are not available.

Belavista's rolling hills and six artificial lakes offers a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of surrounding Lisbon. This moderately-difficult, nine-hole, par 32 has three par three and six par four holes. A full round costs $35 while nine holes is $22. The course is equipped with a driving range, putting green and pro shop. The pro shop offers lessons, rents clubs, electric carts and buggies, but caddies are not available. There is a restaurant and bar in the clubhouse.
