The Marina Bay Golf Course is the only 18-hole golf course in Singapore open to the public. It is unique in that it is one of the few links-styled courses in Asia. The Executive Golf Course is nine-hole golf course is set amidst lush vegetation where wildlife is plentiful and is in close proximity to a nature reserve. The course is touted as an environmentally friendly course. The Par is 29 and a current golf handicap certificate is required. Green Fairways is a nine-hole golf course set in a tropical green oasis. The course is a Par 32 and handicap or proficiency certificates are required in order to play. What is nice about this course is that it feels wonderfully isolated, but is only a ten minute drive outside of central Singapore. It costs roughly S$40 for nine holes on a weekday and if you want to get in 18 holes and play the course twice its S$60. On weekends the cost is around S$50 for nine and S$ 80 for 18 holes. The Royal Tanglin is a short nine-hole Par 3 golf course. The course is perfect for both beginners and families as no handicap card or proficiency certificate is required. It is a relatively inexpensive golf course with weekday prices averaging S$16 and weekends S$20.The Royal Tanglin Golf Course is located in the residential area of Tanglin beside the Botanic Gardens at 130E Minden Road.
The NSRCC’s Executive Par 3 course is open to the public, despite being a membership course. This nine-hole course has the distinction of being Singapore’s first links-style par 3 golf course. Situated on the southeastern coastline, it has wonderful views of the Strait of Singapore. Golfers are required to show their handicap or proficiency cards.
