Equestrian Vacations in England

If you're looking for a customized vacation experience in England and love horseback riding, consider taking part in one of the various equestrian vacations in the country. The vacations differ in price, activities, facilities and setting. Whether you're a beginner looking to go on a tame horseback ride through an unknown forest or a seasoned rider with your own horse, England probably has the "horse holiday" for you.
  1. The Pine Lodge

    • The Pine Lodge at Higher Chilcott Farm is located in the Exmoor National Forrest (West England). The owners, Bobbi and John Pullman, lead vacationers on a trail ride through the nearby forest, where there are wild ponies that have been living in the forest for several thousand years. The Lodge is also near Dulverton, a city founded in the 11th century that boasts a castle and other medieval buildings. As for the ride quality, the terrain accommodates galloping, trots and longer canters, as well as swimming horseback. Breakfast and dinner are provided at the farm, and most lunches are spent at a pub. Self-catering cottages are also available. Prices vary depending on vacation length and accommodations.
