The area's colleges are often rife with bright and experienced students looking for part-time tutoring work in the summer. Computer/Gaming Camps

    • Nurture your child's computer wiz at one of the Philadelphia area's computer camps.

Although some parents sends their sons or daughters to summer camps to experience "the great outdoors" and spend quality time away from their Xboxes or Internet browsers, others have been sending their children to camps that encourage digitally-savvy children and teens to utilize these skills to their advantage. Campers ages 7 through 18 can learn how to create computer programs, iPhone and Facebook applications, and video games by enrolling in one of iD Tech Computer Camps hosted on the Villanova University campus (approximately 12 miles outside of Philadelphia) or the Emagination Computer Camp, hosted at the Rosemont College campus (10 miles outside of Philadelphia). Both camps are widely recognized and offered at prestigious institutions across the country.
