    • The Thomasville Cultural Center offers a variety of arts-based summer camps for children, including music, theater, visual arts and dance camps. The center features a Garage Band camp twice a week, for three weeks, in which guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboarders and singers all learn how to play together. The camp culminates with a public performance by the bands. The Wee Art (ages 4-6) and the Budding Artists (ages 7-11) camps feature a hodgepodge of art and performing arts-related activities.

    Old-Fashioned Day Camp at Pebble Hill Plantation

    • Pebble Hill, an 1827 plantation-turned-museum, offers an Old-Fashioned Day Camp each summer for children. The camp lasts for five days, 9 a.m. to noon. Participants explore everyday life in the 19th century and glimpse into Georgia's historic past. Children will also embark on hay rides, engage in various crafts and learn about the plantation's animal and plant life. The camp is limited to children between the 2nd and 7th grades.
