The Clay Studio is a ceramics and art studio located in Philadelphia. It offers child workshops and summer classes. This overnight-or-day optional camp features daily basketball training mixed with fun activities. Younger children up to varsity high school players are welcome. A typical day will include ball-handling practice, shooting and passing practice on top of listening to a guest speaker who may be an ex-NBA star and a fun afternoon activity. Your child will learn fundamentals of the game as well as how to advance their skills. On the campgrounds are features such as a nine-hole miniature golf course, private lake and Olympic-sized pool. With the option of a one or two week stay, this could be a nice basketball getaway for your child.

Villanova University offers a computer tech camp for your youth. The age range is from 7 to 17 and overnight or day camp is available. In its ninth year, this camp houses the experience of professors and offers cutting edge courses for kids to teens such as Flash animation, video editing, Adobe® and Microsoft®. The cost ranges from $700 to $1,400. There is even a course on how to program iPhone apps.
