Head to the water at this summer camp where the snorkeling, education and water games entice children. One-week camps run from June through August. Campers, from kindergarten through 12th grade, learn about sea creatures (through activities and instructional games); Loggerhead Sea Turtle hatchlings; the rehabilitation of orphaned otter pups; the CMA's resident fish communities; sharks; and the marine ecosystem. A boating and snorkeling camp is offered as well.

The summer camp at Wellington School offers both indoor and outdoor experiences to campers age 5 through 12. The one-week, all-day sessions are built around the children's comfort, safety and ability to have fun. Sporting activities include basketball, softball, kickball, golf, ropes course and Frisbee. The auditorium, computer lab and classrooms are the setting for music, art, games and computer training. Water activities and field trips round out the camping experience. The summer school in Seminole, Fla., is located approximately 10 miles southeast of Clearwater.

Kids get fit at this summer camp that takes place five days a week for children ages 6 to 12. The focus is on self defense and fitness, but the instructor also works on honor, respect and self-confidence. The day starts off at the Fit Club with fitness routines and self-defense classes, but then fans out to area parks for outdoor games and activities. Various field trips are included.
