Boarding Summer Camps in Florida for Teens

Overnight summer camps offer teenagers the unique experience of community living away from home. Teenagers will have the chance to make new friends, learn new skills and participate in group activities all while experiencing a different form of independence. There are several boarding camps throughout the state of Florida that focus on programs designed specifically for teenagers.
  1. Camp RYNO

    • Camp Realize Your Natural Obsession (RYNO) is a weeklong summer camp for teenagers age 12 and up. Nestled along Santa Rosa Beach in Florida's panhandle, the camp program teaches extreme sports and focuses on improving three lifestyle fundamentals: body, mind and soul. Teens can learn how to strengthen their body through activities at the camp such as surfing, skim-boarding, kayaking, snorkeling and free diving. The camp helps enlighten the minds of teenagers by teaching about the landscape and preservation of the Emerald Coast through hands-on activities. Teens can also experience how to enrich their souls through daily activities and meditation. Although this is a co-ed camp, boys and girls have entirely separate lodging, bathroom and shower facilities. Campers are housed in either a cabin or heavy gauge canvas platformed tents. Programs are designed based on the campers age and are offered during several sessions throughout the summer.
