Naples, Fla., has several summer camps available for youths. There are camps that focus on certain activities such as science camps and equestrian camps and there are camps that offer a mixed variety of activities. Some camps give campers the option of participating for only half the day instead of the full day and other camps give discounts if registration for the whole week is done in advance. The common goal all of these camps have is that they want campers to have a good time while learning and interacting with their peers.
The Community School of Naples (CSN) offers three different summer camps. For sixth to 11th grade students there is the ''Brainstorm'' camp; for first to fifth grade girls there is the ''Curious Jane'' camp and for first to fifth grade boys there is ''Zip Zoom Jack'' camp. Brainstorm campers can choose one activity to focus on during the week-long day camp. Activities they can choose from include fashion design, creative writing, theater workshops and forensic science. Curious Jane and Zip Zoom Jack campers can choose a theme to focus on during the week. Themes include toy design or lab scientist and graphic novel or animal nature. Discounts are given when you get friends and family members to enroll and if you sign up for multi-week sessions. Registering for one or more of the three camps can be done on the school's website.
