Camp Woodland, in C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines, Florida, is located approximately 16 miles south of Tamarac. The camp began in 1983 and is offered for girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 16. Campers entering grades kindergarten through fifth grade are considered "Woodlanders;" campers entering grades six through nine are assigned to the "Woodland Teen Camp" and campers entering grades 10 or higher are assigned to "Leadership Training." Camp activities include volleyball, baseball, swimming instruction from the Red Cross, kickball, soccer, swimming, waterslides, fishing, boating, arts and crafts, music, drama, cheerleading and football. The camp includes a minimum of four field trips every week, a carnival, camp dances and talent shows. Camp hours are 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. with extended hours available.

Gymnastics Plus is located approximately 22 miles northwest of Tamarac, in Boca Raton. The school offers a gymnastics-centered summer day camp for boys and girls ages 4 through 13, beginning in early June and lasting until late August. Camp activities include gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, games, rock climbing, a towering water slide, arts and crafts, karaoke and hot lunches. Camp hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. There is also a half-day camp for children between the ages of 4 and 6; hours are from 9 a.m. until noon. Extended hours are available. Gymnastics Plus also has a 10-week summer Cheerleading Camp with activities such as jumps, pyramids, tumbling and trampoline.
